the top and bottom so your Snuggie blanket doesn’t turn out lopsided.

Cut off 1 end of the fleece fabric 24 inches from the finish.
The easiest option to do this is to measure 24 inches from the end on each side edge from the fabric and mark it having a pin. Fold the fabric at the pins. Now have a buddy or one particular of your kids hold 1 edge from the best fold though you hold the other finish. Slip the cutting edge of the scissors into the fold and zip it across. You’ll have a perfectly straight cut.
3
Make the sleeves.
Just cut along the fold at the end in the 24 inch piece of fleece to create two sleeve pieces for the Snuggie blanket. Fold the sleeves in half lengthwise with correct sides facing. Working with a stretch zig-zag stitch or perhaps a serger, sew a seam up the lengthy open edge of every single sleeve piece to create a 12 inch by 30 inch tube.
4
Cut the arm holes within the body.
Here’s the way to determine exactly where to make the holes.
- Measure the width of one’s body from shoulder to shoulder, then divide that figure in half.
- Make a mark about 11 inches from the prime of the extended piece of fabric on the folded side.
- Now use the measurement you figured out above to measure in from the mark you just madeHow to make Your personal Snuggie Style Blanket. Make a mark there.
- Using that mark as a center, draw an oval that may be 9 inches wide by 16 inches lengthy.
- Cut out the oval along the line you just drew. Considering that the fabric is folded, you will be cutting each sleeve holes at once.
